Description:
A longitudinal profiling study using a multimodal battery of measures which included the following:
• electrophysiological measures of nerve conduction
• parameters of pain, pain interference and symptom severity
• somatosensory function and quantitative sensory testing derived sensory phenotype
• sleep impairment
• mood
• pain-related worrying
• functional impairment
• 76 participants were recruited and completed baseline data; 3 month post-surgical data n=65; 6 month post-surgical data n=61
• QST results for median nerve distribution was compared to a convenience sample on 54 healthy volunteers (QST healthy volunteer study N=106)
