Description:
This study will identify the gaps in the existing pre-Hajj medical check-up services to address the risk of asthma among Hajj pilgrims, will explore perceptions of medical staff and Hajj service managers, who are involved in pre-Hajj medical check-ups and management, about the risk posed by asthma to the health of Hajj pilgrims, and the potential acceptability of an intervention to guide recommended care (including self-management) and identify the opportunities and barriers in integrating that intervention within the existing pre-Hajj medical check-up system.
