Description:
The Turkish Neurodegenerative Group is an ongoing single-site observational cohort established in 2011 at Dokuz Eylül University, focused on neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. The dataset includes longitudinal and cross-sectional clinical, cognitive, electrophysiological, and neuroimaging data collected from patients attending the Dementia and Movement Disorders Clinic.
The cohort currently contains data from approximately 380 participants, including cognitively unimpaired controls, individuals with Alzheimer"s disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson"s disease, Dementia with Lewy bodies, Frontotemporal dementia, and schizophrenia. The dataset includes longitudinal cognitive assessments, EEG recordings, MRI data, and limited biosample collections, enabling multimodal investigations of aging, cognitive decline, and dementia progression.
The project remains actively ongoing with continued participant recruitment and follow-up assessments.
