Born in Wales Survey (BIWS)

Dataset

Documentation

Description:
The Born in Wales project links prospectively collected parental survey data with routine electronic health and administrative records. Mothers, partners, and same-sex couples complete surveys during pregnancy and follow-up periods focusing on physical and mental health, lifestyle, workplace environments, and maternity service experiences. Survey insights are securely linked within a Trusted Research Environment (TRE) to longitudinal databases including maternal, neonatal, child health, primary care, and educational attainment records.
